Fifth Grade Curriculum
HOW DO WE KNOW? THEME STUDY
During this time students develop their information processing, communication, creative, and critical thinking skills. First, students will find and evaluate resources as they investigate a topic having to do with the brain. Next, students will use all of the multi-media skills they learned in the past to share their research through a brain museum.
PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
The teacher will lead discussions and activities to help students function in groups, effectively interact with others, and strengthen their personal problem solving skills.
